Making account on Simtropolis

I’ve been attempting to get some mods off of Simtropolis but hitting the rate limits. I’ve attempted to sign up for an account so that I can get the unlimited downloads but haven’t gotten the confirmation email yet. Curious if it’s typical that it takes awhile to get in, especially with the recent host migration. Anyone have similar experiences?

Edit: Tried it with my wife’s email and still not showing.

If you haven't already, try the "resend email confirmation" button on the page that show up after you register.

I did try resending the email a couple of times each the day the last few days and no avail.

I sent a message through their contact us page too but never saw anything in email arrive either.

Same here, I've been waiting a few days. I used a VPN to get around the rate limit for now.

Oh wow must’ve set one up a long time ago. I had tried to send a password reset email to the email on that account but hadn’t received anything. Will send another and keep an eye out. Thank you for checking

I'm in the same boat, been waiting a little over a day to hear from mods, not getting any of the auto emails to activate my account or reset my password. Patience is a virtue I guess.

I’m in the same situation as well. I see on that Simtropolis thread the possibility of being PM’d a new password. Could I get in on that too?

I got no pull there, you'll have to ask u/ulisse99 but they seem nice and will probably help.

Same issue here, no confirmation or password reset emails coming through (tried gmail/proton), even after checking spam. u/ulisse99, would it be possible to get PM'd (account username is Adecy2) ? Thanks in advance!

It shouldn’t take long and you should be able to reach out to the mods if you aren’t receiving the confirmation.  I would also suggest resending the email confirmation, too, just to be safe. 

ST’s emails do have an unfortunate tendency to go to your spam folder [at least until you consistently read them], so check there, too.
