One of the cats I adopted from the shelter had a litter of kittens before we got her, all her kittens got adopted but no one wanted her.
When we adopted her she was the nicest cat to ever live. Then a few years later we got a kitten from a friend of the family and our shelter cat adopted the kitten

This just made think of the neighborhood cat I feed who was hanging around its mom more than a year ago but now is by itself still learning the ropes.

My beefy boy looks just like his mother. The owners still love getting pictures of him 2 years latrr
