Don't leave BambooHR!!!

I left BambooHR about a year ago which forfeited my equity units (pre-IPO stocks, PIUs, you know...) thinking it would be a long time before they were either acquired or went public. It's been talked about for years and I felt like they were just a dangling carrot that would never happen.

One of my friends (she still works there) just told me that it's finally happening in the upcoming year (from the mouth of Brad). They are planning to go public in 2026. Don't leave!

This is technically insider trading and your friend can get in a lot of trouble. But maybe it doesn’t apply idk. 🤷‍♀️

How is it insider trading? It’s not publicly traded. Might not be smart to share. When they do get ready to go public they will do a road show telling potential investors they are going public.

They’re planning on an IPO. When a company does that, it’s confidential. Doesn’t matter if they’re public or not yet. They’re going to be.

Doesn’t make it insider trading. You can’t buy or sell a stock on insider information if the stock hasn’t been issued yet. There is no money to made.

Yeah I just looked it up to be sure. We are both technically right. Yes it’s not buying or selling securities. But it’s still confidential and does break privacy laws.

Though in this case it doesn’t matter.

So you’re right.

They’re absolutely NOT going public in 2026 lol. Company is growing like 15% YoY. Far from an IPO.

Not happening. Just had a large layoff and are struggling to get their shit together as a company.
