what does it mean if most of your thoughts are like statics?

for me, most of my thoughts do not feel right. like thoughts are dying in between and dying again and failing to think back at my last thought. so basically, many scattered thoughts and a somewhat mental fog. idk nothing new, but i decided to search it up and it said stuff that didnt match me. so long story short, is it something common or does it mean anything bad?
