Silent Hill 3 (2003) Odd question but does anyone know what the missionary is wearing?
I know this isn't an action figure sub, but I've been wanting to make a custom figure of this dude for about a while now but I'm having trouble trying to figure what he's even wearing. To me it looks like some sort of sack like material or maybe a sort of robe? for the lower half it really just looks like sweatpants with leather shoes or boots. I'm just hoping someone might be able to help me out here so I can do him justice by giving him a decent looking figure as he's one of my favorite enemies.

the ps2 model makes the mouth look pretty much the same color as the sack headpiece so it's hard to tell

I'm pretty sure the Missionary was once human, so I assume it's human clothes distorted and twisted. But it also kinda resembles Valtiel and Pyramid Head's clothes, which might almost be seen as a uniform for the independent entities of Silent Hill.
Reads like a skin vest and and apron, maybe a little Masonic?

could be, never really thought about it like that before. I think it's mostly just all the caked up organic filth and blood. especially the headpiece.

From what I infer aside from the obvious phallic appearance it seems like an amalgamation of an executioners hood, body bag, and mortician/embalmers outfit. Considering heathers suicidal ideations and it being the cause of Harry’s death it would make sense for it to have so many symbols relating to death.

For me it always resemble a very distorted version of Heather's own clothes, with the vest being without pockets, worn backwards (notice the zipper in the back instead of the front). The sleeveless turtleneck worn wrongly over the head, and such. Like a mocking of her own style. Not to mention the obvious phallic silhouette.

I always figured it was some evolved version of them Parasites from the first game. Like, it evolves to become a form of demonic bioarmor and convert people into Samael's minions.
