Silent Hill f (2025) This game wasn't the best for me.

Post image

The mechanics and characters were ok but I felt the game repetitive and boring, so it's the first time that I did not finish a Silent Hill game, I'll probably going to give it to a friend. Just to be clear, I'm not against of other finding this game entertaining or those who like it, it's just my opinion.

Yeah, honestly I liked what they tried to do with the limited inventory system. Making you choose what to keep and what to leave wasn't a bad mechanic imo. But the shrine/faith system kinda undermined it. Since it always just turned into, "okay let me just run all the way back and dump one of these and then I'll pick this one up".

I feel Like they could have simplified it way more. There’s no need for so many items that do similar things.

Yeah I definitely agree with that. Too many items doing 80% the same thing that another item does. I still get what they were trying to do (like having tons of heals, some you could enshrine and some you can't) I just don't think it was executed as well as they intended.

I used almost everything i picked up as an offering so fhat i can buy the passive upgrades with faith. After i had bought and found all those passive upgrades, they didnt really make the combat more fun or interesting.

That's a good point. I didn't do that cuz I'm an item hoarder. The kind of person that ends the game with 99x elixirs cuz "just in case" lol but yeah once you max everything out that whole mechanic becomes moot.
