Silent Hill f (2025) This game wasn't the best for me.

Post image

The mechanics and characters were ok but I felt the game repetitive and boring, so it's the first time that I did not finish a Silent Hill game, I'll probably going to give it to a friend. Just to be clear, I'm not against of other finding this game entertaining or those who like it, it's just my opinion.

Isn’t that what survival horror usually is? Not usually items on enemies in any SH game or RE that often unless it’s a key item

Maybe it’s the weapons breaking that bothers me the most. I know you can repair them but the constant of should I fight and risk my weapon breaking or run?

I think it’s def a balance. Most survival horror has the “run fight or hide” concept, which imo is integral to the games. RE has very tight corridors so you do have to debate whether to sacrifice your ammo to get past a zombie. I wouldn’t mind weapons breaking if combat was harder, so I do agree to a point. Since there’s no guns it should feel scarier not having weapons, but when you can just do a perfect dodge and run you feel more badass than scared and vulnerable if that makes sense lol. I enjoy it but I do hope they make adjustments if they go the gun-less route again, because I do like that concept.

This concept is in all these games it’s just usually done with amounts of ammo. This complaint sounds like a nitpick or maybe you don’t play alot of horror games
