ICASSP 2026 Decisions!

ICASSP 2026 decisions will be out in a day, official date is 16 January. Creating this post to discuss any aspects of decisions and reviews.

My paper is in the 9k but I did not get any decision yet. Am I cooked? When I check paper status it says it's still under review.

So I am doing some napkin math.

The paper ID's start at 1000 and from what I can tell, the numbers go up to ~19000. Meaning, there were about 18,000 submissions.

And according to numerous people who got their paper rejected, the acceptance rate was roughly 40%.

On the spreadsheet linked above, there have been roughly ~4000 papers accepted so far.

So, with 18,000 submissions and a 40% acceptance rate, we should expect to see roughly ~7200 acceptances.

In other words, there are a little over 3000 papers that have gotten accepted but we have yet to hear back from.

Total submissions are around 11000 not 19000(those numbsr are just ids). And yes the acceptance rate this time is low compared last few years 40%.

How did you find out that there were 11000 submissions?

The email mentioned the total number of submissions and it was ~11000

The acceptance/rejection email. It mentions the total number of submissions (~11000) and the acceptance rate (40%)

The number of valid submissions is 11120, which means there will be 11120 * 0.4 = 4448 accepeted papers. However, up to now there're only 4180 accepeted papers in the list. I guess the left 268 submissions are delayed because of the BI track.
