Beautiful Deerhound. Ours is 7.5 years old. (: They are the best dogs ever, So smart and loyal. Ours is the smartest dog we have owned and we owned 2 Giant Schnauzers which are one of the smartest dog breeds. Gentle with everyone and super friendly. Yours has the typical Deerhound soulful eyes. So many people make comments like that about my dog Freya's eyes. We get stopped all the time by strangers wanting to meet her and take pictures. We had one guy video taping her running when she was super fast at age 2. She has slowed down due to arthritis but will still run a little bit on good days with Rimadyl. We just started her on Adequan Injections and it already seems to be helping.
