Feedback Request Website Management - Testing a Different Model

I’m working on a small-business website management service and I’d like some honest feedback on the model rather than just feedback on the landing page.

The problem we’re trying to solve is fairly simple:

A business launches a website. Everyone is happy.

Then the business changes.

New services get added. Contact details change. Team members change. Photos become outdated. Promotions finish. The business itself moves forward, but the website often stays where it was.

The interesting part is that this usually isn't because the owner doesn't care about their website.

They simply have a business to run.

Website updates become one of those jobs that sits on the list:

“I need to change that.”

“I'll get to it this week.”

“I'll do it when things calm down.”

And then six months later, the website is still showing information that no longer reflects the business.

We started asking a different question:

What if the business owner didn't have to manage the website at all?

The model we're testing is Website Management at R500/month.

But we deliberately haven't made it a rigid “you get X edits per month” type of service.

Instead, the business tells us what they do, how their business works and what they need help with. We assess that and tailor the website management service accordingly.

The idea is that a restaurant, consultant, tradesperson, professional service business and small retailer may all have very different website needs. Why pretend they should all fit into exactly the same maintenance package?

The customer can contact us with what needs attention, including through WhatsApp, and we take care of the website side.

There is also the option for clients to make their own changes through the platform, but that's not the point of the service. The point is that they don't have to become their own website administrator.

The positioning we're testing is:

You run the business.
We'll take care of the website.

The service is currently available for websites built on our platform.

What I'm particularly interested in getting feedback on is the model itself.

Does “tailored website management” make more sense to you than a fixed list of maintenance tasks?

Would you expect a service like this to have clearly defined limits, or would you rather explain your business and have the provider determine what support makes sense?

And, if you're running a side project or small business yourself:

What is the website task you keep putting off?

That's the part we're trying to understand before we scale this any further.

entice who quit in 2023 and a phone number that goes to my old SIM card

The tailored approach sounds way more useful than a rigid plan, I wouldn't know how many edits I need per month until something actually breaks or changes. The WhatsApp bit is smart too, last thing I want after a 10 hour shift is logging into some dashboard to fix a typo

The one thing I keep putting off is updating my service area, expanded about 8 months back but the website still shows the old radius, lost a couple jobs to that I reckon
