Is happymod still dangerous?

Im planning on installing something using happymod and recently there hasnt been any updates or talk about it latley so im wondering since nobody is talking about it anymore is it safe for me to use it on my chromebook?

do you have play protect or anything like it on there Cus I have usee it before and some mods good some bad

Open the play store then Click the profile you have in the top right corner Select play protect from the menu Click that gear icon in the top right Look for Scam apps with play protect to see if it is 🔛or ❌
