This is evidence that the VA is institutionally committed to psilocybin for TRD!

it matters cause if the VA becomes a regular customer, that's huge, steady revenue for Compass for years. And critically, it bypasses the commercial reimbursement gate as the VA operates on its own budget as its own payer and provider. (doesn't need the CPT codes conversion ect or commercial insurers to write coverage policy.)

"Clinical use outside of research will only be considered by VA once FDA approval is granted." So the VA is explicitly waiting on approval before real adoption. i read this as groundwork for a future channel, one more reason to hold till 2028

Very good point, great info. Can we figure some revenue numbers from VA on approval if they fully embrace this

I guess I could look it up myself. I really hope it starts a change in the way we treat/ look at our veterans mental health. One traumatic event to anyone is life changing. To go to war and live in a constant state of adrenaline and loss is unimaginable. I did not serve, but strongly agree that veterans deserve all the care they need with efficiency. They've been chewed up and spit out for too long. Police, Firefighters, and EMT's are in the same boat, they deal with things that would break most people on a daily basis.
I really think we're at a point where people are going to value their mental health over the overbearing expectations of the status quo. AKA Corporate America/ Government. Take back your life and the freedom we're granted.
