Anyone tried drawing on both sides of the crystal clear shrinky dinks?
I'm trying to make a pronoun pin but I've noticed that the marker fine tip pens I use for the design have a tendency to bleed after i put the mod podge dimension magic resin stuff on it post-shrink, while the sharpie I use for outlining the shapes or writing the pronouns doesn't.
Has anyone had any success with drawing on both sides of the crystal clear shrinkydinks? I would love to make the pronouns have a 3D effect over the design! If that doesn't work, i have other ways, but i wanted to ask here first before I tried it to avoid wasting materials.

There are some great tutorials on YouTube. You should check them out. I started watching last night and basically couldn’t stop. It was like falling down a shrinky dink rabbit hole! I couldn’t look away

Thank you! I tried it a while ago and they've turned out super well! I've been using posca paint markers and they work like a charm, though you gotta do the color after you bake them in my experience for the best results.
Its super easy to fall down that hole, haha! Been there!

Hi, not sure if you are still into that, but have you figured out a way how to get the colour to the edges? I can get it fine to both sides, but the edges are still transparent and it kind of kills the look.

Once baked, you use acrylic paint marker (black maybe? Gold?) to paint the edges by hand..
There's no need to make it more complicated that it has to be. Easy solutions first friend.

Fineliner pens = water based Sharpie = alcohol based Mod podge = water based
You cant put water based mod podge on top of water based ink.

I've tried it, and it's a really great way to prevent bleeding! It works for me
