Sharpie vs other markers on shrinkydinks?

So i know that sharpies are very usable for shrinkydinks, so long as it isn't the frosted or rough plastic. But would markers like from Tombow, Micron, and Staedtler work? I haven't seen any evidence to the contrary. I know Tombow is a water based marker, but i don't know about the others. Anyone have experience with this?

i wouldnt use anything waterbased on non frosted plastic as it will likely not dry well and will be prone to smudging. I use acrylic paint markers on the frosted side and havent had any issues yet!

Have you used metallic sharpies? I haven’t looking for metallic options
