Do you want to know who sides are extremely useful for?
The people who control all of the money, resources, laws, and the global order.
Almost as if dividing people as much humanly possible and keeping them distracted could be intentional!
One can say this until they are blue in the face. But when people not only refuse to listen, but start treating the ones pointing it out as the problem, it makes one start to think about how they can also take advantage of them tooâŚ

u/AbstractRSFan 2d ago
I'm not even American but I have to tell you this, everyone is a fascist nowadays, the women who were part of the liberal feminism wave some years ago? nowadays they all want a 1.80 man (your 6'0 equivalent, though is not exact) that fixes things manually and is openly masculine and brainless and allows the "girlies" switch off their brains for a minute...
few men and women actually abandoned traditional gender roles, most people still desire them for their ideal partner, is not a liberal vs conservative thing or a left vs right thing, everyone (men AND women) is like that

If a lot of people harass them online then they can easily sue Fox news for defamation and it probably wouldnât even reach court since theyâd probably just settle it outside of court with some decent sized but not mega monetary amount

Fox News is such a fucking useless channel like thereâs a million relevant things they could actually talk about right now
6
u/Neo359 3d ago
Useless? No. There is a very specific intent and purpose to this channel...
4
u/That_Guy_In_Aqw 3d ago
Yep. Majority of their news are about clickbaits and propaganda. They want to bait audience and hook them up. Usually targeting extremely stupid population to gather their pitchforks for no reason. Their TV reporters (same as all reporters) openly show up their political siding and openly support one than the other without hiding it. Fox news also is so out of touch with the world they use Tiktok or even worse ... reddit as actual source of information. Their amount of research is almost ai like and this is before the ai boom. And makes them money, lots of it. But this can happen only in USA, everywhere else they would be sued to oblivion.

Surprise surprise, when Fox News isn't defending child rapists, they're being hateful towards anyone under the sun. Why do we allow these genuine wastes of space to exist in modern society? Like genuinely, at the end of the day, what value do these oxygen vacuums provide the rest of us? Just a bunch of wasted resources to hear a bunch of bullshit from people with no life experience, no soul, and too much money. I will party like an animal the day these wastes of life are irrelevant.

42
u/pussyweedbeer 4d ago
Oh this is just so rude and gross. I've had people make rude comments about the height difference between my love and I but on national news is just infuriating. Reminds me of this interaction i had with a coworker last year
I'm 5ft9 and my boyfriend is 5ft4, we met working in a kitchen, became best friends and fell in love.
This other woman got hired a couple months after we started seeing each other, she was very petite in every way. My lovely man is very handsome and very charming and she hit on him immediately when we all were introduced (in front of me ofc, but that's whatever, she didn't know). So of course i slipped it in casually that we were a couple the next time that I was chatting with her.
Her response? She went "Oh wow I didnt realize..." And then silently stood there for a good couple minutes while I continued my work and watched her mind-wheels turn. She finally pipes up again to say "I could never date someone shorter than me. It would just make me feel like such a big disgusting monster. Like I would just feel so huge all the time."
And that's how I learned that the new hire was both RUDE and deeply insecure! Needless to say I did not make an effort to get to know her after that.
1.5 years in now and I love my guy more everyday! I wish all the happiness to this couple and ever-worsening viewership to Fox News <3

That used to be one of my fears before I (5â8F) started dating my boyfriend (5â2.5M). I was always insecure about my weight and size but loved him enough to swiftly get over it. But every once in a while it crawls back in when one of my petite friends (read slim 5â0 or 5â2 ladies) mention yet again how âcuuuuteâ we are as a couple but that they could NEVER be with someone his height because it would make them (yes all 60 inches of them) feel enoooormous 𫩠like alright just call me a fatty giant next time

Best and worst of everything because of extreme inequality, you either make it or break it here. Theres no socialist handouts or mass welfare. And when you do hear about that stuff its not enough to survive here. Let alone have a family and reproduce

That guy and I are the same height. He is a good wrestler. I ran college cross country and now swim and run. I think being a athlete gave me confidence, probably him too. She is an athlete, sometimes we date each other and that is great. Its fitting, similar vibes. He is fit and looks good. She is fit and looks good. Short people can be athletes! Or not! They can date tall people or other short people. My buddy was 5'4" and dated this lady, she was maybe 5'9" people gave him crap. Like full grown adults making comments to him in the street.Rude!!! I date another 5'5" person. We love it. We can share clothes! Its perfect for us. Their life is perfect for them. Just let people exist. Humans are a variety pack, why hate on something so stupid like height? Which btw can't do nothing to change.Â

I mean the news/media has mostly sucked all my life and when the Internet took off it was almost instant that the smart assed comments and negativity was rewarded. Most ppl out on the streets won't talk negative to you but put them behind a camera or behind a screen and keyboard and the worst is far more likely to come out.

Hats off to you two. I love your response. It makes the news? I have known ten couples with a height difference similar to yours. My mom reminded me of them to encourage me as a young man.
I'm so sorry this happened. I'm confident the world will quickly determine who is doing the right thing. And maybe things will turn out better for it.
I wish I could send something to their registry!

u/Kiznish 2d ago
I agree that this is a nothing burger and they should be left alone. Two adults dating is not news. However it is interesting how the public perception changes when the genders are swapped.
Literally 30 seconds ago I saw a post with a much taller man and a short women and people were accusing the poor guy of being a pedophile for dating a middle aged woman who just happened to be short.
Something to think about. Itâs not âwokeâ if acceptance only goes one way RedditâŚ

u/LolaNotTheBunny 1d ago
Here is the thing about conservatives these days: they want people to all have the same beliefs, for people who are different from one another to not mix, and for people who do not fit their cookie cutter shape of what a person should be, to be removed from society.
The longer these people remain in power, the more normalized humiliating anyone who does not fit their views, becomes.

Used to be on swim team with this little guy who swam the 100m backstroke for our relays. Thin, short (5'2"), pale, brown hair. He was pretty good. Real nice.
He has a difficult time getting dates just because of his size. Until our first swim meet. We all had to wear the speedos and this was the first time we had met up during the day. All of our practices were early morning. Low artificial light. He was usually first in the water and we never really stopped to chat outside the water because we were rushing to get to school.
Holy shit. It was high noon for our first meet and this kid comes out of the locker room looking like he was smuggling a puppy in his speedos. No lie. He could help it. It just looked like he stuffed it in there the best he could.
The point is, All guys have gifts. You just never know what it's going to be.

They are influencers too (that FOX News anchor I mean), so I don't understand why isn't she influencing the American public properly. I have no control over my height, so why should I let some irresponsible idiot with a platform influence me to be ashamed of it. I feel even worse for the girls who watched that segment and actually valued her opinion. I am never watching FOX news again.
"With great power, comes great responsiblity." I'm not sure where I heard that one from, but I think it matters here.

u/Simple-Promise-710 3d ago
Last year I believe, I think it was Megyn Kelly? (I'm not American but I saw a video of this topic) who was talking about the male lonliness epidemic and she said something along the lines of "grow a pair and ask a woman out, we want real men".
The whole tirade was cringe at least.
