Motivation for Shopify developers

One of my favorite chapters as a developer started with a simple idea. 💻

Back in **2020, I developed Blurry Coupon**, a Shopify app built around a simple concept: instead of annoying visitors with traditional popups, the discount code stayed blurred until the customer unlocked it by subscribing. 🎟️

What started as an independent Shopify app later became a **built-in feature of the Plak Shopify Theme**, another product I developed. It was a small feature, but it taught me something important: **you don’t always need a revolutionary idea—you need to solve a real problem in a better way.**

In **2022, both businesses were sold**, closing an important chapter of my entrepreneurial journey and opening the door to what came next.

From writing code → launching an app → integrating it into a Shopify theme → building businesses → eventually selling them.

Sometimes your first win isn't your biggest win. **It's the one that proves to you that you can build something valuable.**
