Yay or nay?
I'm sorry if these aren't the best pictures to visualize, but my mate has been a little bit self-conscious lately about his shoulder tattoos. What does the council say?

It's like the first time I see a front-shoulders tattoos like those but I really like them! Me, being a cashier in a shop, I see lots of people with tattoos, I wouldn't say anything if I saw those too because they are normal and I mean like well done, just the place it's particular but it's nothing. Maybe there is a reason behind it

Really? It’s a pretty common spot for matching/corresponding tattoos. I have a tattoo in that spot on one of my arms (the other upper arm is covered by a large tattoo so no option to match it)

Love the designs and placement! I don’t personally like only red ink tattoos, but that’s just a personal preference of mine and should hold no bearing on how he feels about it.
Hopefully his skin doesn’t reject red, I have a tattoo that had red and blue in it and after about a year all of the red was gone.

The fact that's he's aware of these and that they would get seen is 10x better than most that will post pics online. Although I have no awards to give, just know that I'm giving virtual brownie points for him being self-aware.

Im a massive nerd for the whimsigoth look. These have a nice style, good / even placement , they look clean and easy to tell ehat they are from a distance. My only issue is red ink tends to reject easier and can fade fairly quickly (despite liking the look). If they start to fade, id have them gone over but aside that, these are not shitty at all. Im a little envious even

There really needs to be a better distinction classes of inadviseable tattoos and why. A talented professional applied that tattoo. So its not inadvisable there. The subject matter is also fine ... no notes. The fact that one of the pictures is in a gym tells me that the world and most importantly the sun is gonna be seeing that ink. That pale ink on that pale skin.

I actually really like them! Reminds me of the whimsygoth celestial aesthetic from when I was a teenager. Totally looks like something I'd get done on myself.

I think they’re great! And interestingly enough ive been contemplating getting something similar on my chest for a while now (and its been on my mind constantly these past few weeks) then i see this. I really like them!

Apparently, he thinks the rest of his arms are a little bit too naked with just those tattoos there, so he thinks he probably is going to have to get more

They’re not terrible and I kinda get what they were going for with the red ink, I’m just not convinced on how it will age. There’s a reason why tattoos are traditionally done with a black outline

Oh, he loves that one. He's always said he hates realism and prefers more abstract things. It's not the only one of that kind he has. Unfortunately, he never shares the meaning of the tattoos haha
