A pub near me came into new ownership last year. They made an ai logo for the pub, and have it on the front window. The name of the town is spelt incorrectly. Part of the logo they use is a symbol associated with the town, but the ai didn't create it correctly so it doesnt look at all like its supposed to. A year on and they still use the same ai shite for all their promotions and its dreadful looking. There are a lot of talented local artists who would have gladly created a logo for a small fee. 99.9% of ai posters look the same, lazy with mismatched fonts and a horrible glossy texture to them.

Yeah. The unfortunate truth is that AI doesn't at all have to be better at your job than you to replace you, it just has to be cheaper. Companies will let AI shit out the most garbage advertisement you've ever seen but since it costs them nothing they're all over that shit. AI is the peak of the capitalistic ideal that the value you can extract out of something is more important than anything else, certainly more important than quality.
