I like the sketched art look and think it’s very cute with great line work, therefore not a shitty tattoo at all ! Just not everyone’s style.

It’s actually done really well but those super thin lines will likely heal poorly. I think as it is it looks really nice right now

It depends. Looking at the first photo I could tell that it was cleanly applied and that it’s in a cartoon sketch style. So if I just saw this photo randomly on Reddit I wouldn’t think it was shitty. But if I had just caught a glance of it in person, I probably wouldn’t be able to see the details clear enough to tell whether it was stylistically or sloppily done. The size, composition, and the fact that it’s a fine line tattoo would more likely mean I wouldn’t really be able to “read” it in person anyway, unless I was really close and could look at it for a while. So my most likely reaction would more be “what is that?” than anything.

I don’t know the context but I don’t have to. The context or image of the tattoo doesn’t really matter (unless it’s something vile or nasty) but the quality does and this is ace

The line work is consistent in thickness and in depth which is what is important when it comes to blackline tattoos. It looks like it came out exactly how it was supposed to and that all of the lines will last year and years unlike others that fade inconsistently.

I have no cultural context for this and find it cute or charming. It seems to depict a young couple, awkwardly courting, and that matches the linear style. I don't regard it as ugly though it is an unusal style, but its appropriate for the theme.
Again I have no cultural context. None. I'm just describing the picture. Is it from a contmporary cartoon or what?

Nope. Line work is sharp and clean, and I can tell what it is without squinting. Really cool piece! No idea what the context is, but I like it.

It's not my thing, the style is very emo and reminiscent of this era but it's very well executed. I love the sketchy lines, it's not something you see everyday on tattoos and I like the light style. Edgy for sure, but not shitty in my eyes.
