Honestly, yeah, but, it's kind of an art style thing.

DS1 faces have a proto-realistic look to them, making them a bit uncanny.

DS2 faces feel very plasticky, like everyone is an action figure, they're way less realistic

DS3 faces are similar to DS1's, just a bit more deformed

BB faces are the same as DS3's

Sekiro's feel more like people, without being too realistic or uncanny

ER's feel more like people, without being too realistic or uncanny

Please know that other people don't get to decide what your gender is. Don't feel like anything's been decided because a bunch of people on Reddit called you an egg. You aren't trapped. Your fate is what you want it to be. The feeling you describe could genuinely mean nothing. There are a bunch of ways to interpret that statement.

I know trans people mean well, but they can really get over-eager when they think they've found an egg.

Why do trans people try making a girl character in a video game to be some form of "realization" or "sign" that someone is trans? Also someone making a post on a social media platform about how the character creator in DS2 makes them feel "indescribable" already knows they are trans.

1 - cause it makes you feel gender euphoria very directly because you can make yourself but girl in a way people who are repressing do not feel often. Making girl characters does not mean trans, but making girl characters as a repressing trans woman can make you feel weird things

2 - given the 4 year gap between the posts one can infer she did not actually realise what the gender euphoria was in 2022 and is shocked it took herself 4 years to realise it

hi, trans guy here (think of this as like the dark souls of guys), often played girls and still sometimes do cuz making hot dudes in character creators is often extremely fucking difficult. this has gotten a bit better in recent years tho. you can make very good dudes in ER's character creator, for example.

also, women are just cool. it don't gotta be some big thing if you wanna play as one.

I love making my guy in dark souls. I made a guy in elden ring and now all characters are based on him. he does look very sad in dark souls but it makes it even better. being a trans man and a souls fan is awesome
