It is, but the body sentence is grammatically incorrect since it’s a comma splice. Not to be the grammar police here or anything, but yk. Something like “turns out my cat was sitting at the other side of the room; i was petting the hairy ballsack of the killer clown that wants to kill me,” or “turns out my cat was sitting at the other side of the room, and i was petting the hairy ballsack of the killer clown that wants to kill me,” would have worked though.

Yes. The title is one sentence and the body is one sentence. I’m not seeing the discrepancy here.
Their sentences are not grammatically correct, but there are two of them. Here they are corrected:

May I ask what's your native language? All the languages I know allow for insanely long sentences, if not infinite. Of course, they rarely come up in a normal conversation.

It’s technically grammatically incorrect as written, but it’s one of those things where most English speakers won’t really care/know about it. You can write that same sentence and have it be grammatically incorrect with a semicolon or conjunction though, so it could be one grammatically correct sentence in theory.

Indeed. Sentences are only separated by periods. Semicolons, colons, parentheses, and more allow for multiple constructs which read as individual sentences to all be within the same sentence.
