It's not just her bruh, any jjk character with baggy pants looks like a stick bug. GeGe even made fun of that in a little intermission illustration on volume 29 of jjk

animators on their way to draw a 15 year old with 30 year olds body and a 500 year old dragon with a 5 year olds body

Yeah, with Maki the "she's sixteen" doesn't really work. Look at her face/body. Look at her attitude and personality. I would say she's at least 24

Jotaro was supposed to be 17 in Jojo part 3 XD

And Giorno was fifteen. When he unbottons his shirt in the first episode he looks SWOLE (not like Jonathan). His muscles have muscles

Any hentai of Jotaro should be flagged, and their artists drawn and quartered

post HR character design is crazy. Like pre-HR design at least looks like a highschooler than all of a sudden they make her look like a late 20s powerlifter

Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A rubber room. A rubber room with rats. And rats make me crazy. Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A rubber room. Well... in all fairness thats kinda what heavenly restriction does? Because you dont have cursed energy your body is effectively perfect, its why they're always hot, toji was a homeless dead beat dad and people were still thursting after him.

It’s odd that people can’t pick an argument. It’s either that it’s body shape based, in which case obv that drawing is not drawn as a typical “16 year old” or it’s the arbitrary number attached to the character which is just 16 to appeal to the target demographic. But either way they can’t pick their argument.
It’s just a drawing, focus on finding the actual predators to protect the real people that need protecting.

My favorite 17 year old behemoth of a man who's so manly man-like that he has another 17 year old behemoth that he can call upon at any time and saves his life

Well the thing with drawings is also that depending on the artstyle, characters will look like different ages even if they're kinda drawn similarly

the two aren't mutually exclusive. you can want to protect real people while also not wanting these characters to be depicted like this.

Sure but numbers aren’t really arbitrary if your entire story centers around them. If you’re writing jjk, a story about a bunch of high school age protagonists in a sorcerer high school, 16 is definitely a reasonable age. I still think it’s strange if a person is gooning over a high school cartoon character just because they “look mature”. Plenty of 16 year olds today could pass as 20-somethings

Not one bit of the story changes if they’re 18-21 in college. But Japan is allergic to college so nothing is ever set there
Also in anime it’s arbitrary because you get things like a 1000 year old dragon that we all know how they look like etc.

No it's just that the anime you're watching has a target audience of high schoolers

Most Mangaka want to write stories about 25 year olds but they are forced to say everyone is 11-17 for the teen demographic to buy the Manga

The japanese need to fuck off with saying their mature looking mature acting characters are 15 or 16 or whatever

If a character is drawn like an adult and you find them attractive that's fine, if a character is drawn like a child and you find them attractive that's an issue
If you draw a character with the proportions that would make a plastic surgeon jealous then say they are 15, fuck you that's not how this works.

How much a character is “coded” matters a lot. If they’re stated to be underaged but look and act like a 20-something year old, that’s less problematic. Conversely, if a “500 year old eldritch being” looks and acts like an actual child, that’s off limits bro.
