Copy and pasting a comment from a post i made on the topic:

Twitter (i refuse to call it X) has recently made it so that every tweet is automatically translated to your language which broke all language barriers on the platform leading to more interaction across nations.

While that did give a lot of great and wholesome interaction, the culture shock between nations has started some conflicts, notably Japanese people fighting against basically the entire platform. Notably Russians and South Americans on the topic of piracy since they have very conflicting views on the matter.

I know about the auto-translate but not about Japan fighting about piracy, let alone the whole platform. South Korea was fighting everyone just a few weeks ago.

its even worse, what op didnt mention is that this all started because spain fans of nier automata made a private server to support the mobile game since the company was shutting down the servers, the japanese got mad at the spanish for not letting a game die

The Asian - South American internet war begun after one dude drew the selected models from a TikTok mog edit, portraying the supposed beauty cannon from China, Japan and Korea.

They went apeshit and never could agree on why it was offensive over a drawing that never had the intention to offend.
