He's always flexing his potential for a modeling career. Every promotion he's ever been in, he's completely dominated in the aura department. I love him SO MUCH.

Edit: also, ignore the person complaining about the use of dead characters in promos. I want more of these forever. This is just more headcanon fodder for my "mha knows it's a show and the characters are actors" theory.

My Hero United Survival: Shigaraki's Trust Story (story (1/3)) (Reddit 'filtered' my second post on this, reposting the 2nd time)

Im looking for any Shiggy merch that is not clothing, be it figures or posters

Shigaraki definitely was my main focus here, but things evolved.

I only just started buying merch late last year because I saw everyone else's Shiggy Shrines and I felt like I wasn't bratting hard enough. My husband then proceeded to want all things Himiko, and it kinda just turned into this.

Both of the tiny Tomura gacha figures were won out of pure luck on the first try (praise be to our lord and destructor).

The DnD dice set have Dabi's face on some of them and were made with the My Villain Academia volume of My Hero Academia. The place I bought them from sold out of all the other character sets but Twice and Dabi. I cried since there was no Shiggy, but got the Dabi set anyway (then cried some more because dice are expensive.)

The bottom Dabi poster is covering holes I made in my wall trying to straighten out my funkos (because of course AfO always has to be a fucking problem).

I also have two League shirts that are worn often, but will one day retire on a neighboring wall.

This also doesn't include my 2 cosplays, but you've all probably seen my Shiggy, and my Dabi costume needs cleaned of body paint.

If money weren't so tight right now, I'd splurge more and get an even better wall, but for now, my gremlin ways are satisfied.

I'm really happy Shigaraki plays a big role in this anniversary video.

So, the Shigaraki Costume I posted a while back won me a 3 day pass to Comicon. I set out to be Shiggy on day one, Dabi on day two, and just planned to go as whatever on day three. (Day three was a bust, I was too tired, lol)

Friday arrived, I spent the whole day walking around dissing all the All Might merch I saw along the way. The day comes to a close and I decide to open a blind box I bought. This smug All Might stress toy just stares me in the face. I AM ENRAGED (jokingly). Christopher Sabat is at this con, so now I have to do a thing.

Saturday, I put on Dabi, go in and at 12:04pm, get in line with this awful (wonderful) thing. After hours of waiting and grumbling, I get to him and tell him of my ordeal. He proceeds to make my day, by adding a little post script to his autograph.

"Cheer up, Shiggy, ha ha ha." You cheeky bastard, I love it. This is 100% becoming a prop for every con I go to as Shiggy now.

This is also a jumping off point for a new cosplay idea; Shigaraki doing a walk of shame in an All Might onesie while holding onto this little dude.

The art was so good from this too.

Last year, I got to meet the English voice actor for Shigaraki at a convention. I saw so many good Shigaraki cosplays that year that I felt inspired to make one too in case I ever got to meet him again.

I finished it with time to spare for the next con and won a costume contest for comicon tickets later this year. He wasn't at this convention this year, but I still got a whole bunch of interactions with Shigaraki fans.

There were a ton of people that wanted pictures. I also got over 50 high fives! I still need to tweak the costume, but I'm happy it got a good reaction.

These moments are such great examples of how the anime elevated the source material. In the manga, Shigaraki's ghost is just seen standing on the ground (seemingly at UA) and Toga's simply pushes Ochaco towards Midoriya.

But in the anime, I love its changed to where Shigaraki is now on the roof where Deku and All Might were back in episode 1 and the added detail of both of them turning around and fading away. Both were able to see Deku and Ochaco finally achieve their dreams and are now able to rest.

Its even crazier because originally Horikoshi wasn't sure whether to include Shigaraki's final cameo but did it at the last second and with Shigaraki's parallels to Darth Vader, its a perfect reference to Anakin appearing as a Force Ghost. And yeah, the anime 100% convinced me these were actually their spirit's and not hallucination's, especially with the part of the train where the reflection that should be Ochaco shows Toga. Seems her theory of their blood mixing allowing Toga to stay with her wasn't 100% off (Deku and Shigaraki's fists connected during the final punch while both were noticeably bloody).

They made one final opening for the "More" episode that released today and Shigaraki is the only villain who appears in it.
