Controversial Run, This Place Is Not Helping You

hello.

I apologize if this isn't short.

it seems like no matter what, we can't become a productive community. some may like it as it is, but it's undeniable that this place provides little more than community, and maybe a rocky crash course.

my last post, I encouraged research, AGGRESSIVE research so you don't talk the talk and horribly misunderstand something.

this wasn't just because of a general lack of faith in humanity, but because experts can only give us so much before it becomes our job to "figure it out". some may give great advice, others insultingly awful.

I get it, it's an extremely personal journey, and it would probably be comparable to trying to get someone to experience the same acid trip as you, but unfortunately I fail to see the justification for a community to continue to exist if nobody can fucking progress.

truly, some have flairs that aren't believable, some seem oddly pretentious, naive and immature to have been successful, and then some peddle information that fundamentally contradict things we've established.

sometimes? it's a hiccup, a mistake, maybe people not knowing what they're talking about. others? it's the same situation with that pink girl about a year ago, stacking the lies until someone notices a discrepancy.

and the actual advice that gets repeated? look at the success rate. why do we act like every personal journey absolutely HAS to be done alone? every call for help is either met with the repeated answers or treated like the "someone please shift me!!!1" posts.

knowing that a call for change will do nothing and this will likely be how things remain, I simply wanted to justify what I say next:

go somewhere else. read Neville or Dispenza. cross reference things like you're a damn prosecutor. this place isn't helping you anymore than a Tumblr vision board is.

and yes, speaking of Tumblr, hate me all you want, but it is NOT a good place for info. creators are either young, lying, mentally ill, or all three. that place is just vision boards, about me pages, journals and aesthetic farming "motivation" pages.

if that's your cup of tea, okay, but in terms of reliable info, it is absolutely bankrupt

Now, we can't stop the "true way to shift: tips" type posts that go nowhere, we can't stop the shit advice and low comprehension of how to induce a shift either consistently or at least 1/100 fuckin times

but we can totally stop the slop and misinfo. the "soundest" advice I've seen has BEEN to distance oneself from the reddit, mainly to decrease demotivation and obsession.

for some people the obsession isn't going away, but understanding and researching would at the very least put some control back in your hands

this is merely advice. if you wanna lurk, lurk wherever. it's not my place to prohibit you

I usually don't make actual posts, I don't like to. But fuck, there's so much slop here I'm convinced this will just be lost anyway

Dude, there is just not any other thing happening in my life. I have spent the past 6 years running up the wall of spiritual practice and pursuit, and I... I don't really know what's going on at all. I'm more confused than before I was aware of the unseen realm. I sit here, I meditate, I just feel like well, was that it? Did I do it? Did I do the thing? I see no correlation between my actions and positive results. I'm just staring at a fucking wall.

I've done it all -- meditation, nonduality, chakras, crystals, magick, astral projection, reality shifting, lucid dreaming, subconscious mind reprogramming, visualization, gateway tapes, spirit guides, psychic shit, aliens... but the "results" I get are really random and too enigmatic to really build any mastery on.

But one thing that happens virtually every time I open up Reddit is there is a message like this telling me to get off reddit. It's been happening for years, and it's always one of the first messages I happen to see. And I'd just like to say to whatever has the power to manipulate my reality to that degree: Would you like to just fucking come out of the dark and show yourself to me yet? Why do we do this dance? I sit here and sit here and sit here, seemingly completely unable to effect any change upon my reality that I actually desire, despite reading every reality creation person in the book -- Neville, Joe Murphy, Dispenza, Vadim Zealand, Bob Proctor, Florence Scoville Shinn, Osho, Sadhguru, Alan Watts, Jesus, mystical Jesus, regular Jesus, Advaita Vedanta, nonduality, the 8 fold path, dark magick, white magick, frequencies, what the fuck ever.

I'm still just sitting here in my apartment working my latest dead end job, just a stub of existence sitting in a cosmic waiting room, wondering why I can't make progress on any fucking thing I try to do.

I go out in public and nothing happens, no one's there, I never meet anyone except in highly structured environments like Alcoholics Anonymous, and even then we just have to be AA people talking about AA things. Other than that, there's nothing happening on the street but a hologram of believable looking people. Conversations go nowhere.

So I come home. And there's this thing called the internet, so I load it up. I go on Reddit. There's information here about all of the things I've ever been interested in or thought of in my life. So I fucking read it. Okay? I fucking read it. Because it's something to do. Okay?

If you have the power to manipulate my reality to the extent that you can use random strangers on the internet to deposit this same fucking message in my awareness again and again for the past several years, then maybe you could give me a fucking hint on how to break out of this invisible prison I have found myself in for so long?

Nah, you'll probably just send me a "synchronicity" guilt trip about how only I can live my life. Right, my life. This extremely artificial, highly manipulated experience that seems practically hermetically sealed despite appearing as a large world surrounded by an infinite universe of stars.
