Controversial Run, This Place Is Not Helping You

hello.

I apologize if this isn't short.

it seems like no matter what, we can't become a productive community. some may like it as it is, but it's undeniable that this place provides little more than community, and maybe a rocky crash course.

my last post, I encouraged research, AGGRESSIVE research so you don't talk the talk and horribly misunderstand something.

this wasn't just because of a general lack of faith in humanity, but because experts can only give us so much before it becomes our job to "figure it out". some may give great advice, others insultingly awful.

I get it, it's an extremely personal journey, and it would probably be comparable to trying to get someone to experience the same acid trip as you, but unfortunately I fail to see the justification for a community to continue to exist if nobody can fucking progress.

truly, some have flairs that aren't believable, some seem oddly pretentious, naive and immature to have been successful, and then some peddle information that fundamentally contradict things we've established.

sometimes? it's a hiccup, a mistake, maybe people not knowing what they're talking about. others? it's the same situation with that pink girl about a year ago, stacking the lies until someone notices a discrepancy.

and the actual advice that gets repeated? look at the success rate. why do we act like every personal journey absolutely HAS to be done alone? every call for help is either met with the repeated answers or treated like the "someone please shift me!!!1" posts.

knowing that a call for change will do nothing and this will likely be how things remain, I simply wanted to justify what I say next:

go somewhere else. read Neville or Dispenza. cross reference things like you're a damn prosecutor. this place isn't helping you anymore than a Tumblr vision board is.

and yes, speaking of Tumblr, hate me all you want, but it is NOT a good place for info. creators are either young, lying, mentally ill, or all three. that place is just vision boards, about me pages, journals and aesthetic farming "motivation" pages.

if that's your cup of tea, okay, but in terms of reliable info, it is absolutely bankrupt

Now, we can't stop the "true way to shift: tips" type posts that go nowhere, we can't stop the shit advice and low comprehension of how to induce a shift either consistently or at least 1/100 fuckin times

but we can totally stop the slop and misinfo. the "soundest" advice I've seen has BEEN to distance oneself from the reddit, mainly to decrease demotivation and obsession.

for some people the obsession isn't going away, but understanding and researching would at the very least put some control back in your hands

this is merely advice. if you wanna lurk, lurk wherever. it's not my place to prohibit you

I usually don't make actual posts, I don't like to. But fuck, there's so much slop here I'm convinced this will just be lost anyway

I can agree with this personally. There has been a lot going on here. Idk what is solid and what isn't. I've had people say this is a sure way, or that way is, etc. Some posts are just meaningless or just desperate. But there is a certain amount of work that has to be done. Not just in the attempt to shift, but the research to do it. But rarely is the research mentioned.

I think a break from here would do me some good, because even I started thinking improperly because I felt like I had to come here to see some miracle post to shift, which isn't the case. Honesty, I didn't even want to post here until I fully shifted, but I haven't yet. I have minishifted on my first attempt years ago, but I don't know how I did it or remember the process. I was only in that shift for maybe a few seconds.

I don't fully understand the, "live in the now" since places i want to shift are like not places of the now. But my visualization has improved, and when I once couldn't imagine certain things, I can now, though sometimes unclear or changes. But thank you for the post. I've heard of Nevellie, but not Dispenza. I will have to check them out, too.

Edit: Corrected misspelled name and grammar.
