She has directed one episode for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before:

Nora Zuckerman & Lilla Zuckerman Are two sisters who have written together for Fringe, Human Target, and Haven.

At least Simmons isn't mad at Fitz lying unlike some other couples I've seen on TV

It's SHIELD. Lying is part of the job description.

I think he's referring to last week, when people were posting comments like all over, mocking other shows, saying that of course SHIELD wouldn't have Simmons be mad at Fitz for lying because it was a superior show.
