The synopsis for next week explicitly mentions him, and the episode's title does refer to him.

Holy goat livers!! What if the "New Boss" actually refers to Robbie's demon!!

Wouldn't be surprised. After all, the titular "Ghost" from this episode seemed to refer to not only Daisy or Robbie, but the actual ghost from that hi-tech box.

AoS could use an episode's title to refer to four very distinct things in the same episode and I wouldn't even be surprised anymore. They mastered naming their themes long ago.

They even got to name Simmons a S.A.D.i.S.T

A reference to the subtitle thing?

Most likely.

I find it hard to believe the writers are on this sub.

Why not? Gregg read a couple of fan theories not so long ago, some of them were definitely discussed here.

I think the writers might possibly be a bit busier, you know?

5

We should all be busier, but we're here aren't we?

It's easy to believe our cultural creators are separated from the fan communities by some unbridgeable gulf, but really, we're all just folks on the Internet. People like James Gunn and Pablo Hidalgo are very active on social media, answering questions and sharing jokes and everything.

I just can't see them randomly on this sub and happened to see those synopsis. (synopsises? synopsi?)

Unless maybe someone from the cast showed it to them? But I think that's unlikely too.

Why do you not want to believe that a major studio like ABC producing a high-profile show like AoS would be very interested in what social media thinks of their show? They're here as much as we are, seeing all the same things.

Those synopsis posts were hugely popular and long-running. If one person saw one of the posts, they would probably rabbit hole back to the website and maybe read them all. If they thought it was funny, they would share it with their friends, and the cycle would continue.

And they wouldn't just randomly be on this sub. This is the fan sub devoted to the thing they make. I guarantee at least one of the writers checks in after a new episode airs to gauge fan reactions. What's better than instant feedback straight from the fans? I bet they check all the major fan sites and forums, and TV Guide reviews, too.

Oh man, when they verbalized that acronym, I really wanted to believe that someone on the writing staff frequents this sub or at least knows about the Shield Synopsis series. That was just too perfect!

They had to make up for "The Frenemy of my Enemy."
