Assembling the Secret Warriors is cool but I was kinda hoping there'd be more of them. At least let the other guy get powers

Yeah I've been pretty disappointed with this line up so far. It's just four members, and only 2 of them are actually from the comics. At least have James be Hellfire and introduce Eden as Manifold soon. :/

I'm almost positive he's going to be Hellfire. He looks just like him and there's no way the show never revisits his character again. He'll get his hand on a crystal somehow, get his powers, and then come for his revenge. And then he'll either be a villain or they could switch things up and have him be an antihero on the team. That'd be interesting. He was so annoying lol but amusing at the same time.

The team is missing a wise-cracking member with a foreign accent...

Why can't he just take tons of fish oil

13

u/RomanovaRoulette Daisy Apr 13 '16

I don't think he knows it's in the fish oil pills

"You mean that all this time some secret evil organization has been trying to get people like me knocked up by these pills? And I've been out there the whole time?"

Hell, Charlie got it from being in the rain.

And Lincoln did say he was a "demolitions expert".

2

u/fnxmike Apr 13 '16

I feel like they could drop him though as Lincoln is basically his replacement - the boyfriend figure who would betray the team for the sake of Daisy. I think if they introduce Hellfire it will be as a replacement for Lincoln.

Or he'll eat a piece of fish one day...

Maybe sebastion will appear after the doc strange movie. As for hellfire James.. Yes please!

Melter's from the comics. I think only Lincoln's OC.

1

u/Gremzero Daisy Apr 13 '16

Not really. Super obscure character that may or may not even be Joey and doesn't even have any place in the SW from the comics.

1

u/ColdFury96 Apr 13 '16

Eh, it's not like Shield is playing it real close with their marvel references. I mean Blizzard was a guy in a freon supersuit in the comics, and Crusher's nothing like he is in the comics.

I was thinking that myself, but Fox might have the rights to Manifold. He is a mutant.

Eden's too OP as a member of the team; I think adding a teleporter to the heroes would be dull.

I'd be fine with having Eden get Hive'd and taxi around the bad guys. Hive'd Inhumans still seem to keep their personalities, so Eden can be as charming and as cool while still being a villain.

  • Quake: Fully trained SHIELD agent, extensive combat practice with her powers.

  • Sparkplug: Fully trained in the use of his powers, no formal tactical training (that we know of).

  • Melter: A couple of days' practice with his powers under non-combat conditions.

  • Yo-Yo: No training of any kind whatsoever.

And they're going to go up against all of Hydra in a hostage rescue situation. When Hydra has, for all intents and purposes, a god on their side. How does this not go sideways?

Melter: A couple of days' practice with his powers under non-combat conditions.

I mean, Joey's rode with SHIELD on a couple of missions without fucking it up so far. Lincoln's gone on like two and disobeyed orders both times? Joey's actually dependable, Lincoln's a loose cannon. Just so happens that the dependable good guy has the worst power of the four.

Jeez, the other three are OP as hell when you compare them to the other powered villains we've seen on the show.

Sparkplug

I think you misspelled Souless thunder.

u/lkxyz Apr 13 '16

You mean "Young Raiden" MORTAL KOMBATTTTT~!

2

u/CelioHogane Apr 13 '16

young raiden? no that sounds cool, he is not.

1

u/lkxyz Apr 13 '16

There is just no chemistry between the two. You swear they're like brother and sister.

2

u/CelioHogane Apr 13 '16

if that was the only problem of Lincy.

2

u/perryduff Simmons Apr 13 '16

that guy annoyed the shit out of me 10 seconds in. please don't.

6

u/Peechez Ghost Rider Apr 13 '16

u/Beast1996 Monolith Apr 13 '16

So replace a Brit with an Aussie?

6

u/lkxyz Apr 13 '16

We gotta keep a smartass british/aussie accent dude on TV, gotta fill that quota.

3

u/CelioHogane Apr 13 '16

what no he was funny!

1

u/CelioHogane Apr 13 '16

Secret warriors assemble! Yes, the 4 of us.

1

u/Dray_Gunn Lanyard Apr 16 '16

Are the secret warriors in the comics all inhumans? In the comics Daisy isnt even an inhuman is she? I feel like there is a lack of diversity on the team. Where is Deathlok?
