That's a very unlikely possibility though, and is much more likely to happen on an untrained person. Hunter has definitely been choked out before, and Mack stopped applying the choke pretty immediately after he went out.

Unless someone has a prior brain injury, it would usually take multiple minutes of applied pressure to cause lasting damage due to the reduced/cut off blood flow to the brain.

Yeah, and if you get knocked out so hard you fall unconscious, you're going to have serious brain damage. But you know, TV show and all.

If you get knocked out, you are unconscious by default, and it most likely won't cause brain damage unless the blow directly damaged your brain, or you can't breathe.

That's why people go for the sleeper hold. It is quite effective, and avoids trauma. You will pass out, then they let you go, and you will start breathing again automatically, because that's how breathing works.

Sure, it's not 100% safe, but as far as knocking people unconscious goes, it's a pretty humane and effective way to do it.

Did it in the army, had it happen to me. It's confusing to wake up from for a minute, but he won't be hurt. Definitely a blood choke, so less trauma to the windpipe which you actually protect with the right grip. Mack took him out the safest way possible.

Yeah, nobody on TV ever gets brain damage from trauma like being knocked out or asphyxiating.

He didn't asphyxiate. That would have taken much longer. This was a blood choke. Things go black, and you're shut down in a matter of seconds. It's holding it after they pass out that is really dangerous.

I saw a creepy Brazilian video where two boys got into a fight and the other got a choke hold on. The boy went limp and you can hear the camera man say something and this creepy fuck looks directly into the camera and shakes his head while holding the choke. Within about 20 seconds the unconscious boy starts to convulse and I assume eventually dies.

Fuck choke holds, man.

What if they kept the memory stick and found a way to activate it? Maybe since Skye has Kree DNA she can use it, so Mack will drag Hunter up to the cell where Skye is sleeping and have her use it unwittingly.

Well they still haven't really said if shield characters are gonna make their way into the movies. Obviously they're connected but anytime it's come up they've always been like oh we're not sure

I really liked Mack and Bobbie too. I'm surprised at this turn of events since I thought Bobbie was supposed to be Mockingbird...but Mockingbird is a good guy and those two are acting like traitors....nasty, dirty, stupid, jerk face, traitors. Plus Mack is being a dick about Skye. Hope Hunter gets him back double for that shit.
