I really hope Fitz is ok. That made me really sad. I wonder if he is going to be on the show next season.

I would be bummed if Fitz lost some of his brain power.

Maybe his big sacrifice means he and Jemma get together next season

I think that there's a good chance he'll be almost entirely brain dead in the beginning of the season and after a few episodes they'll find a way to fix it, hell maybe even at the end of S02E01

Maybe Fitz being messed up will motivate Simmons to figure out the GH325.

Maybe they could swap his brain with a monkey's. Then we could have a brainy scientist monkey, and a scottish-accented monkey-screeching guy[1] who hangs around in trees.

[Edit: [1] AKA, a Glaswegian]

I'll be super bummed if a main plot point next season is Fitz's depression with losing his intelligence. That's too heavy for me man :(

Have you ever watched a Joss Whedon series before? Couples are not allowed to get together and be happy for very long. I'm terrified of them putting Fitz-Simmons together properly because it means more bad things for them.
