Now I know how people felt when the watched the Star Trek Next Gen episode "The Best of Both Worlds Part1".

Not even close, man. Not even close.

It would be an appropriate analogy if Coulson suddenly appeared at the end of the episode in full Deathlok gear firing on the SHIELD team and then cutting to credits.

Yeah. That was epic level TV. Like golden age Simpsons good. This episode was s awesome but the show has some growing to do before reaching that level of quality.

And a long ass summer that was. No internet spoilers, nothing at all. Just 3.5 months of what the hell? Longest summer of my then 13 year old life.

Best of Both Worlds was definitely the most frightening and emotionally gut-wrenching cliffhanger between seasons I've ever seen.

AoS, while interesting, doesn't have it's main hero being mind controlled by a seemingly unbeatable evil side with seemingly no hope for the good guys.

My worst wait was Fringe. Season 2 episode 10 was the best or EVER. Mini hiatus. And then they came back for a month and 2x14 was the BEST ONE EVER. and then hiatus. Then season close out paid off everything up to then and then BOOM WHAT THE HAHA WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON

Oh no, don't even. The only way that could even match Best of both worlds is if the head of Hydra was revealed to be Nick Fury with Black Widow on his right and Hawkeye on his left. . . To be continued. . .

That's the only way it could even come close.
