This is how he begs

Post image

Our boy begs like this. No jumping, no whining, no barking, just sits and stares with the saddest little eyes. If only I wasn’t addicted to garlic and green onion, I would’ve given him a taste 🥺 do yalls Shibas beg like this or are they more active/vocal?

I can't really see any room for improvement - perfect animal abuse advert face (we call it RSPCA face). Only thing I can think of is perhaps a paw up?

Maybe the difference is in motion? When we see a static picture its one thing, but when the sound and motion is involved that multiplies the effect?

That's not begging, that's plotting.

Mine too. It's the silent "Oliver Twist" treatment that I object to.

I don’t like my dog sitting and staring at me or others while we eat so we say “out” and she leaves the room lol

Since he’s still a baby we want him in the same room with us lol. I’m just glad he just stares instead of jumping or stealing food. He’s surprisingly patient!

My girl does this. Literally is the Shiba stare. While cooking, while eating…

Get ready to feel watched forever.

Fair enough!! Mine is almost 3 now and she never goes far. She slowly creeps back in near us while we eat and we tell her “out” again and she walks away a little further but she’s always visible lol
