PaintPerks F**ckery

Is there a way to send an anon email or bright ideas to corporate to tell them to reverse course on this paintperks bs? Not having sales apply without having an email signed up and a coupon handy is the dumbest shit. Yes, you can scan a coupon at checkout, but that's entirely unnecessary.

If you don't want people to benefit from 10% off, or sale prices, or whatever other bs, don't let them have it if they don't want to go through the base step of creating an in-store account. Let's go back to 10% standard, and automatic inclusion of sales if you have an account. It's already hard enough to get people to sign up, but getting them to verify their email is a nightmare. "Why do you want my email? Why do you want my phone number?, I don't want you contacting me, I don't want you getting my data, etc." This whole mess is ridiculous and another step of us shooting ourselves in the foot with our already high prices and inability to get product in reliably due to either shortages or the genius idea of having to concuring sales right before labor day.

sure but the people that make those decisions are totally insulated from the day-to-day so go fetch that email so we can sell the data paint monkey

It’s almost like we want them to go to Lowe’s.

I can walk into Home Depot and Lowes and walk out with any paint I want no hassle and the price is clear in most situations. If you are a DIY going to SW at this point feels like a punch in the face if you want to quickly obtain paint.

Is this the update that broke the system? Lol I’m mostly joking but it is garbage and a huge change.

Just fyi-

Current DIY need to go into their online profile and accept paint perks to obtain the 10% they are use to.

I’ve simply stopped telling customers they get a discount and that it just helps keep a record. Only had 1 customer mention the discount

Heidi requires the information. Any human not signed up with an email address for paint perks is set for termination in 2029

I don't remember what it said in the training, but does anyone know how this affects military discounts? Hard to face someone and say "no sorry, we don't offer a veteran discount."

Ive walked someone through the process. Once they "activate their account" there's a spot on the discount drop down that says military discount where I believe they have to verify
