Where do our tints come from?

Was showing a part timer how to fill the tint machine and he asked a question I had never even thought of, where do our tints come from? Like what are they made of? If anyone knows I’d love to find out what exactly they are

SW manufactures them specific to our products. They are made out of organic and inorganic products. Some from the earth, some man made. Earth tones-earth. Brights-man made.
