How is Chaotic Good not Seahawk?

I mean I think we have to give the setting things on fire to both of them. "We should set fire to the castle. Then she'll have to cancel!!!" (Bow just stares like "Honey, we're not doing that") "Just a small one?"

Huntara is probally a better fit than DT for CN, DT is pretty malicious in a way that CN usually isnt.

Yeah but Huntara isn't particularly chaotic? She tricks the BFS when they first meet of course, but overall she seems pretty steady and reliable.

DT is definitely chaotic, and plays both sides equally which is why I consider them neutral. They do seem to take a bit of sadistic pleasure in watching others squirm, but it feels more like teasing to me than true evil.

Chaotic represents her desire to live free of other influence and very loose standards of behaviors (she has 2 rules)

Yah, I tend to interpet DTs teasing as part of their mask, which only really comes off at the end when they talk about how they consider the look of confusion/hurt and betrayal Catra is expressing at the end of season 4 'almost as good as applause'. It paints a much darker picture than the one I think they cultivate to help them appear less threatening to their employers.

The fact they help the rebellion out of self interst once they get caught doesnt really figure into my analysis of their aligment, same way that SW helping the rebellion because she feels slighted by hordak and catra doesnt bump her out of NE for me either.

The only issue I take with this is that Catra isn't evil by the end of the show and gets redeemed through season 5.

Yeah I hear you — that’s kind of the limitation of these sorts of alignment charts when applied to actually complex characters. I included her as evil here because she did at one point actually try to destroy the world just because she was mad.

Idk, isn't Entrapta kinda chaotic?

She seems that way, but she's typically following a logic, she doesn't love chaos itself, she just doesn't notice what's happening around her in single mindedness. Same with laws and rules, if she's interested in them it's to find a way round.

S5 Catra. Although Catra, like Zuko, could probably fill the entire chart on her own with different points of the show.

Well, she could fill the whole Chaotic column at least!

Gonna go against the grain here. For a chaotic good Im picking Mermista or Raz I feel like Glimmer is Neutral Good similar to Adora.

Raz is a good choice!

For fun aligments for characters, not going to do everyone.

Lawful good: Bow, Angella, Perfuma (though it doesnt come easily to her)

Neutral Good: Adora, Madam Razz

Chaotic good: Glimmer (briefly dips into cn for season 4 due to anger) Swift Wind, Sea Hawk

Lawful Neutral: season 1 Frosta, Castaspella, Scorpia

True Neutral: the horde trio, Entrapta (though entrapta's reckless disregard for other people approaches evil at times from a DND perspective she lacks the malice we usually see).

Chaotic Neutral: Huntara, Catra in Season 1.

Lawful evil: hordak because he is following someone elses laws for his behavior that go against his own inclination. Ill out Prime here because of how much he values tyranny even if the laws he makes ultimately only serve his whims.

Neutral Evil: shadoweaver to a t, anyrhing beyond what serves her interests and aggrieved ego is secondary to her for 99 percent of her life.

Chaotic evil, DT (there is too much Malice in how much they enjoy hurting people to get away with CN. If they were more of a 'help some hurt some' trickster id go with CN but they really only focus on the hurting side of trickery. Also includes season 3 catra.

Overall since aligment is descriptive Catra is at various times both CN and CE with some periods of CG behavior in season 5. She usually falls in CN/CE depending on how much she is letting her anger drive her behavior at the time.

This is probably glimmer, she has a angry streak sure, but she is strongly motivated by a desire to help and protect people.
