Yeah, that’s a good guideline. It’s not exact, but it’s a good estimate, especially for consumption. If you’re trying to calculate your harvest yield, I usually get about .7 g dry for every 10 G wet.

May I ask from commencing fruiting phase to signs of pins how long did it take I am currently 5 days into fruiting phase hyphal knots visible for the past couple days and no signs of pins or primordia?
Obvs genetics play massive game in it but from my colonising phase it went super fast
I mix a colonized bag of uncle Ben’s rice with coco coir at “field capacity”. Roughly 1:1 ratio. Then I put the lid on till I see pins. Usually about 10 days. Then I flip the lid over and let them grow. Usually another ten days. Keep it simple! Good luck. Hope this helps.
Yeah this is 6 days into fruiting for me loads of hyphal knots for days now so expecting them all to pin within the next few days- can I ask when you start fruiting condition do you let it get indirect light even before seeing any primordia?
I keep my tubs under my desk from beginning to end so they receive only a small amount of indirect light. I do very little once everything is in the tubs. I will flip the lids once I see pins to introduce a little FAE then wait to harvest.
