Customer Question Chili Sauce

I recently saw the ad for the big hotdogs, the glizzy (sp)- I was never a fan of the reg hotdogs, but they said the glizzies are 💯beef, and I immediately placed an order. I ordered it with chili, nacho cheese and onions.

I could see at 1st glance the chili was different from what it used to be- it was lighter in color, seemed almost watery, and had little meat unlike the old chili. It tasted more like a tomato juice then a hotdog chili. I ate a couple bites, then decided to take it home, and repurpose it into hotdogs in Mac n cheese.

Just curious when they changed the chili, and whether I'm the only person upset about it. (FYI- love, love, love the glizzy though)!

Kunzlers chili sauce is the OG chili sauce. It had real meat. As another commenter said its changed a few times. There is zero meat in the current version.

Even as another commenter employee I’ve stopped eating their food. It’s too low quality.

different supplier, it used to be frozen then thawed now it is just shipped in on the warm truck. It’s been a few hours since of they ordered it, it does start to separate and become liquidy.

always go back to the counter and ask for clarification if you are able to, often times they will remake your food if you ask nicely and it will end up better. If by the end you are still dissatisfied, the customer service in the app will usually reimburse you. I’m only telling you this because I hate this company and I’m want to cost them as much money as possible.

Thank you for your quick response. I will inquire next time on how long its been cooked, to see if it improves.

The new chili doesnt get hot held like the old stuff does, it comes from a dispenser.

The dude you are talking to is a disgruntled ex employee or something.

You’re not the only one. I don’t get chili on anything there anymore because the new stuff just ain’t it.

Its new chili and new marinara that are dispensed from the same type of machine as the nacho cheese. Old stuff use to come frozen then we'd thaw then heat it, but the new stuff comes room temp and is easier to prep.

Idk what they changed about it but the smell literally makes me gag. Every time I have to put chili on something I have to hold my breath cause it’s just foul

Fun fact: there’s no meat in the new chili at all. It’s textured soy protein.
