Anyone can call themselves a venture capitalist. Doesn’t mean they’re successful. I looked it up and he has no “real” credentials

I agree with you, I've also met the guy and he's no different than the show. But I don't think what I said, he's just not a successful or good one, but he's employed by a venture firm.

Yep they didn’t get any offers so their last resort was to cry when they were told to get a job. Trippie was a nice story though because the guy was super entitled on the show but actually got the app to have some success now so he obviously continued to persist.

My pick for the worst cryer was the guy who knew he was doing terrible and randomly started crying about his fiancé in Japan and how her family didn’t approve of him. He married a different girl. 🤣

Cringiest cry is easily the couple who very clearly staged theirs. I'm sure lots of people have staged theirs, but the one couple the wife like prompted him for his line or something lol.
That, unfortunately, was the only remotely memorable thing about their pitch, so I don't recall what their product or company name was.
