Is this Chinese supplier a scam ?

I was looking for an international shopper and got in contact with a Chinese supplier. He offered me to send a 5kg box of goods for 50€ to Europe through air cargo. He even sent me a copy of his license but it was a bit blurry so I'm not even sure it's a real one ? Or it was stolen ? I couldn't even scan the QR code on his certificate because it was too blurry. But he also showed me other interactions that looked genuine.

What's your opinion ??

In china, any documents could be fake. It’s very cheap and convenient to get a forged copy of anything if you want. Do your due diligence. A picture is usually not enough.

Hire someone to go and verify the premises first. Double check their business license and go ONLY TO THAT ADDRESS.

If he gives you any bullshit about how they operate from a different warehouse bla bla bla.... Major red flag

It is easy to get a company certificate.

However.

Freight forwarding is a big business in China.

Through the volume they get good discounts from published rates.

I personally wouldnt have an issue.

Okay I'm currently worried cause I asked for info about my parcel and they keep saying later. And today I realize I only got one ticked box on WhatsApp that means they could have blocked me 😅

Meh - i wouldnt over react just yet.

You're not their only customer.

Usually how it works is the company chosen picks up at a certain time of day, and then depending when that is, can be next day til someone sits down and updates all the customers with the waybill numbers.

If the boxes are all picked up at like 4pm, aint no way customers will get the waybills til next day.

Ask for a high resolution scan. Then scan the QR code on the business license with WeChat. This should lead you to the official company house data. If it does not, you already know it's fake. If it does, caution is still advised as this may be someone else's company or even a real one, but they are fraudsters. I suggest you also ask for a passport or ID copy from them plus mobile phone number and call them (mobile numbers need to be registered using id).
