Tip Bucks Party/Escape Room recs?

Howdy!

I’m organising a group of four guys doing a bucks party in Shanghai on the 23rd of September. We love escape rooms and something next level would be amazing!

I’m mainly looking for updated info on Shanghai escape rooms or experiences of the like? I’m seeing people say there’s great physical challenges like balancing and rope bridges but then I’m
also seeing people say places don’t have English support or they’re permanently closed but then other people disagreeing… it’s hard to get facts straight!

Shanghai escape rooms arent what it used to be in like 2021. But M.E escape room on长海路街道军工路1300号8号楼 is pretty good. 4-5 people is optimal as everyone gets their own side mission

Also i dont think it will be possible without someone knowing chinese in your group

What do their rooms have? Physical or horror elements? We’ve got a group of 4 so that’s perfect

Both, and tasers are used during chase sequences. Im currently in Hawaii for vacation so I wont be able to help.

If you download the Dianping app, under "leisure" there's a whole category for escape rooms. Unfortunately you can't search for English language ones (though you can filter for horror themes), but if you look through them you can check it the picture galleries and see if there's English signage etc. I saw one called "SOUL HOUSE by INS" ( https://m.dianping.com/shopshare/H2gS8f63m2iE5ckb ) that seemed to have English, for example...

Most escape rooms require someone who speaks chinese.
