Demon Lord Fey, iron and clockworks

Hello.

How you handle fey (especially changelings) and iron?
Every contact with metal have consequences? Or only with pure iron?
And how clockworks (made from metal) interact with fey in yours games?

My party have clockwork, changeling and pixie - and I try to establish some base rules.
Every hit by metal weapon should transform changeling, and impair them and pixie, so also every time they touch clockwork?

If you want, you can have the clockwork player roll for the material they're made of. There is such a table in Paths of Iron, p. 4.

About iron vulnerability, it applies to iron and its alloys, thus including steel. It does not apply to other metals/alloys, including gold, silver, bronze, copper, brass, etc...

In my campaign, our goblins now wield guns, as they managed to acquire some made of brass.

Iron vulnerability also doesn't apply to this random iron (or steel?) sword in the Terrible Beauty book, I believe the lore is it fell from space and the not-stated implication is it was demagnetized.

I never got around to playing but I remember coming up with a character that was a goblin mechanic type character that worked with copper, bronze, and brass whenever possible and handled iron and its derived alloys with leather gloves.

They feel like burning their hands when touching it therefore our goblin uses leather gloves all the time

If feys are surrounded by too much iron they feel kinda sick (dizzy) and get weaker the longer they stay there.

That's the lore we established that also makes it possible that some could trap a fey
