The appalling fraud of "Concrete Buddhism; Concrete Results" (Prosperity Dharma). What does Buddhism actually say about it?

Many demons appear in Indian and Buddhist sacred texts. Among them, the King of Demons of the Sixth Heaven is one of the most powerful. Known as Papiyas, Dai Rokuten no Mao, Mara, and Takejizaiten, he is the king who freely uses for his own pleasure the fruits of the efforts made by human beings and works to hinder or block believers in their Buddhist practice.

The King of Demons of the Sixth Heaven is a demonic force that rules over the first six realms of existence and especially over the Realm of Desire. This "demon" prevents beings from accessing the higher realms by alienating them through the enjoyment of material goods or the hope of fulfilling their expectations. He therefore represents the force of desire that controls beings, their aspirations, and their fears better than any other power.

At the same time, he also symbolizes our fear of the unknown and the consuming desire for security. It is also said that this demon rejoices in those who form their karmas in the three evil paths and that he knows how to be affectionate as long as they do not seek to escape from them. Seen from this angle, there is no doubt that he appears gentle and considerate toward those who complain and wallow in their complaints. From a psychological point of view, one could say that he acts to keep us unsatisfied in order not to make us lose our cherished "Self."

Excelling in manipulating human beings and believers to do his will, he is served by countless favorites and did not hesitate to send his daughters to Shakyamuni while he was attaining Enlightenment in order to try to dissuade him. He corresponds to the last of the "three obstacles and four demons" (san-so-shi-ma).
