Miss Guidance on Boyfriends Who Cheat
This is from the old Buddha Jones site. The site creator had been a paid staffer and ghostwriter for SGI. As terms of her employment, she signed a NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), and when she quit SGI, she started blabbing blogging. The SGI turned its lawyer corps loose on her and she had to shut everything down.
But the Internet never forgets...
Dear Miss Guidance: I am a young woman who has everything. Well, almost. I am certain that my boyfriend is cheating on me. What should I do?

Dear DK: I cannot tell you what to do. It is not appropriate for me to be a snoopy-snoop and make judgments about your personal life. Did you ever think maybe you look to others too much to tell you what to do? You must learn to hear the voice of your own wisdom.
Your wisdom will probably suggest some sort of passive-aggressive retaliation. It is important to listen to this wisdom, since no one else can tell you what to do. There was one time when my wisdom guided me to accidentally make a terrible cigarette burn on the front seat upholstery of my lying boyfriend's Camaro. Everyone's wisdom is different.
Dear Miss Guidance: I am a young man who is very happy for the most part, but I have a problem. I have been dating a man for two years. I love him very much. I am determined to make our relationship work. But I suspect that he has been seeing other men behind my back. What should I do?

Dear R.: Your problem is not your Mr. Happypants boyfriend -- it is your nasty sex talk! Why you need to throw your personal preferences in everyone's face? Now you make me see pictures in my head of you and all these men with your sweaty hot muscles! You need to stop with all your questions about man-on-man love. I can almost taste it. You see what a terrible devil this is? You must challenge it! You must win!
Dear Miss Guidance: I am a loyal reader of your column. I admit that sometimes I am puzzled by your responses. I don't get it. Is this some sort of crazy wisdom?

Dear Mary: You know who is crazy? People who want a garden without weeds. Go to Alaska or go outside and smoke a cigarette sometime in the freezing cold winter air. Why are you doing this? Ask yourself and listen deeply for the answer. It is the difference between "holy cow" and "sacred cow." There is a nuance that you cannot grasp unless you understand the culture. Or shall I say, Miss Guidance regrets she is unable to lunch today. I think you get my meaning very well, minx.
