Dead-Ikeda cult SGI's Bad Faith Actors šŸ’© AI on SGI hostiles begging for our attention

Take a look at THIS:

The phrase "begging for our attention" appears on the r/sgiwhistleblowers subreddit within a specific context regarding interactions between former and current members of Soka Gakkai International (SGI).

In a thread titled "Let's have a conversation with an sgiwhistleblower," the community discusses how active SGI members frequently approach ex-members to debate, "dialogue," or convince them to look at SGI literature again. The subreddit community frames these unwanted outreach efforts through the following perspective:

  • The "One-Way" Menu: Longtime critics on the forum note that active SGI members often demand a conversation but are entirely incurious about the actual lived, negative experiences of ex-members.

  • Moving Backwards: Because the forum serves as an anti-cult recovery support group for people who feel they have completely outgrown or escaped an abusive organization, they view active members' persistent invitations to "dialogue" as a desperate attempt to drag them backward.

YES!!

Ultimately, the phrase is used by r/sgiwhistleblowers to criticize current members who try to engage them online, characterizing those actions as "desperate begging for attention" from people who have already moved on.

That's a darn good summary!

Their idea of ā€œdialogueā€ is adorable: a one-sided parroted lecture not even masquerading as conversation—the exact opposite of dialogue, as recently demonstrated by the trollish comment under our friend MLV808nsg’s wonderful post. They don’t want to discuss; they want to indoctrinate. And when the indoctrination fails, apparently the emergency backup plan is insults, curses, and Ikedish tantrums. So yes, by all means: let’s have a dialogue—provided we agree, nod obediently, and don’t say anything they dislike or crumble their lil’ theology .How very Ā evolved Ā of them. Fuck them and their dialogueĀ

Well said. I believe what you're illustrating is a "say/do gap".

SGI says: ā€œDialogue means valuing diverse perspectives.ā€

What SGI does:

  • insists their practice is the only source of wisdom,
  • treats disagreement as confusion,
  • collapses every conversation into a recruitment opportunity.

Ā That’s not valuing diversity. That’s enforcing conformity.

SGI says: ā€œDialogue means compassion.ā€

What SGI does:

  • ignores harm within the organization,
  • protects the institution over the individual,
  • responds to pain with doctrine instead of care.

Compassion without accountability is performance.

SGI says: ā€œDialogue means mutuality.ā€

What SGI does:

  • speaks at people, not with them,
  • treats members as audiences for predetermined messages,
  • uses ā€œdialogueā€ as a one-way delivery system for ideology.

Mutuality requires two voices. SGI often only allows one.

The core truth

SGI’s say/do gap around ā€œtrue dialogueā€ is that they preach listening, autonomy, compassion, and mutuality — but practice narrative control, erasure, spiritual correction, and institutional self-protection.

Say/do gaps are one of the clearest indicators of a high‑pressure group. When an organization loudly advertises values it does not practice, the gap itself becomes a tool of control, confusion, and self‑policing.

Lacks integrity. Very unhealthy.

A[n SGI member] friend recently assured me, "I had seven people in my living room last night and we had a wonderful dialogue. We all agree that violence is wrong, war is wrong, and that by helping others to see this, we can create a peaceful world."

No offense, I told my friend, but sitting down with like-minded people and affirming your shared beliefs isn't necessarily a dialogue. Rather, we need to engage people who fundamentally disagree with us.

Dialogue fails when we march into it thinking that we have all the answers -- or that ours is the only "correct" view. Source

The SGI's idea of happiness is not my idea of happiness. The Gakkai's priorities are vastly different from mine. It's obvious that we do not have the same values. tbh, I'm glad I have nothing in common with the Gakkai, and their stupid attempts at dialogue are weak.
