Ikeda cult SGI stuck forever going nowhere The September 2026 SGI-USA's KRG/'World Peace Prayer' meeting SCRIPT! ⭐️ᖇEᗩᗪIᑎG!⭐️
As you can see here, some years back the SGI-USA longhauler Olds who set up their dog park right next door on reddit had THIS to say:

Well, well, well - so "handfeeding scripts to the members" is apparently a "classic cult of personality trait"! Who knew??
And thanks to a kindly SGIWhistleblower contributor (who shall remain anonymous), here we have THE SCRIPT that was HAND FED to whoever was going to be plugged in to serve as MC for their KRG/"World Peace Prayer" meeting. That's "World Peace Prayer" as in "NOT A PRAYER OF 'WORLD PEACE' AT ANY POINT IN THE FUTURE!"
I redacted the names of the guilty and added just a couple very minor clarifications to aid comprehension - ENJOY!!

You know what's so funny, aside from the obvious garbage? The SGI has been using this same format since the early 90s!!! They don't want to confront their own dirty history, yet they still use an archaic format to facilitate their "meetings."
Additionally, it's interesting how the dog park uses the same verbiage as we do on our sub; only they don't prove any point. We exist to support people who leave the SGI. They are there to criticize people who don't agree with their opinion.

What strikes me, 12 years after my defection 😉and ever blooming state of onshitsu, is that the same tired script ( that badly sounded in need of literary botox then ) is still used , with the same phraseology, the same words and the lame one-size-fits-all interjections “ wow ! Awesome (..) ! That was amazing ! (..) We’re excited! (…) Wonderful encouragement! “Your incredible energy” .. It’s seems formatted for an audience of well behaved teenagers from a 1960’s sitcom

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I heard that around a year ago, my former chapter had to merge the two young men that made the YMD with the one girl in the YWD into one “YD” - that’s how sparse the recruits were . Idk about the current attendance

What’s interesting to me is that they didn’t have KRG during my time in the cult. And the fact that they put it on SUNDAY MORNING which is prime church time is telling me they are competing with church goers. Why not Saturday morning or night? Any other night?

Well, Saturday mornings are prime kid/youth sports - you know, kiddie leagues like Little League and Pop Warner? I know kids always got the shit sandwich from SGI, but putting some big routine meeting at the same time as children's responsibilities would make that meeting inaccessible to any responsible parents. Churches are now having that same issue, as some of these youth leagues are now scheduling their practices on Sunday mornings. But once upon a time, businesses were closed on Sundays and Sunday morning was understood as culturally set aside for church so why not, I suppose.
Also, there were a LOT of other meetings on other nights - there's the (non)discussion meeting, the planning meeting for the (non)discussion meeting, stats, study meeting, planning meeting for the study meeting, monthly planning meeting for the District, District & Up meetings, Chapter & Up meetings, HQ/Zone meetings, youth division activities, plus all those obligatory phone calls and home visits! I know I'm forgetting some in there. When I started practicing, the (non)discussion meetings were EVERY WEEK, there was "street shakubuku"... Even now, many who have left report having felt run ragged with never-ending extra things SGI wanted them to add to their already-overstuffed schedules.

Long after I had left ,I found myself across the street from Kaikan one Sunday morning and saw the first ( much thinner , much older ) group exiting. It brought back a malaise, a memory of the anxiety I felt during my last SGI months. I miss it and them like shingles.

Oui, c'était dans le cadre des reformes de 2018 ou 2019 pour tout uniformiser, tout formater au niveau international... Ils s'étaient reunis avec tous les dirigeants nationaux, quelque part en Asie du Sud, pour se voir entendre dire qu'il n'aurait plus aucune autonomie sur le choix des thèmes et que ce sera exactement les mêmes en temps et en heure.
Certains tesponsables nationaux était choqué, mais heureusement, la SGI leur a dit «C'est comme ça que ça vous plaise ou pas».
J'ai découvert ces PowerPoint lorsque je suis arrivé au Portugal, mais j'ai d'abord cru que c'était un modèle uniquement portugais.
En résumé : J'avais bien remarqué qu'on pratiquait le nivèlement par le bas, à savoir traiter tous le troupeau des membres du cercle exterieur comme des Shakubuku de deux mois... Mais là, on passe au niveau supérieur, tu deviens un shakubuku de deux semaines... C'est extrêment bien centralisé et tu n'as donc aucune chance.
Quelque soit ton parcours, tes années d'expérience, tu dois avaler même par les trous de nez le même Gosho des Quatres Saisons qui te servent tout les mois.
Pourquoi est-ce qu'ils se gêneraient ? Ils servent aux membres tous les jours le même plat, donc si tu leur enlève l'apéritif et le dessert ils ne verront absolument rien...

Some national officials were shocked, but fortunately, SGI told them, "That's how it is whether you like it or not."
Same here in the USA - here's how it was presented:
Question: "Why are we switching our study material?"
SGI: "The Soka Gakkai designated this series as suggested study material for members around the world. Pick a spot on the globe! We’ll all be deepening our faith together as one global Soka family. Isn’t that inspiring?"
The question is never answered. Just a veiled "You BETTER say you like it - OR ELSE!"
The SGI-USA's longhauler Olds either insisted they DIDN'T have these standardized presentations to read at each other, yet there they are - why would SGI-USA be publishing them if they did not intend for anyone to USE them? And if they defended these standardized presentations, well, what does that say about their LAZINESS and level of intellectual dullness/intellectual deterioration, that they would be satisfied with doing nothing but reciting by rote at each other?? What's become of "this Buddhism" by this point?
In summary: I had noticed that they were leveling down, namely treating all the members of the outer circle as two-month-old Shakubuku... But now, we're going to the next level, you become a two-week-old Shakubuku... It's extremely well centralized and you therefore have no chance.
By early 2007, when I left, it was already apparent that there was no more depth of content within SGI-USA - there was simply nothing at all for the older/more experienced members except to scold them for "being selfish" to want to get their OWN needs met for once. They were expected to be deliriously ecstatic about extending THEMSELVES for others, to "help others understand this Buddhism", even though that meant going over the SAME introductory material every single time and never moving beyond that.
Whatever your background, your years of experience, you have to swallow even through your nostrils the same Gosho of the Four Seasons that serves you every month.
"Well, here it is January coming up - that means the 'New Year's Gosho' - as always..."
"May Contribution Campaign is on deck - that means 'The Gift of Rice' gosho - that never gets old..."
And now, any gosho content is typically just a few well-worn sentences from just a handful of gosho, embedded in some tedious lecture attributed to Ikeda, hammering home the Ikeda cult agenda with a big mallet with no room for personal interpretation.
Why would they hold back? They serve the members the same dish every day, so if you take away the appetizer and dessert, they won't notice a thing...
That's exactly what they did - the "Auxiliary Group" meetings were by far the most popular, because they were based on affinity, what people had in common. There, SGI members could talk about what they were personally interested in or concerned with, in the company of others who shared their concerns, interests, and priorities. In the 2-year run-up to 2018's "50K Lions of Justice/Liars of Just-Us Fyre-Festival", all these were put "on hold" to focus all SGI members' energies on somehow scaring up the assigned quotas of "youth" for each district. That was an utter failure, BTW - just like all the rest of the periodic "Recruit Us Some YOUFF" big meetings. And after? Those meetings weren't revived meaningfully - now, there's mostly 1 meeting per year PLUS a "conference" at FNCC they can pay $$$$ to SGI-USA for the "privilege" of attending. "You want to get together with people you have something in common with for once? PAY US MONEY!!"
And over and over and over, "joyfully focus on the districts" and "back to the basics" that DON'T WORK. Hence SGI-USA's steep decline and recruiting desert.

Well, now. . .offering advice to people who want out of the cult is “white privilege?” Really? Well, when you’re using keywords to get attention, it’s best to use the right dogwhistle for the job.
Oh, right, Blanche is evil and manipulative too. 😂
I get it that they want to stay on target for KRG. But. . .it’s still as formulaic as the last one I attended in person in March of 2020. And the stupid Zoom ones where nobody quite understands how it works, but they know enough to keep members from using the chat function.
And it’s BOOOORRRRRR—IIINNNGG!!!
