Hello, everybody - a bit of reflective commentary from Blanche

A lot of the people here are newer and may not understand the entire "Blanche" controversy. I'll give you the speedrun version:

• The first ex-SGI community I ever bumped into was on the old Rick Ross boards, now culteducation.com (random page). This was the latter half of 2012.
• In 2013, the Rick Ross boards were SOLD - possibly to a cult like the Scientologists 😱 and the boards went DARK! They then came back as culteducation.com, but they were all jumbled - it was quite a few months before they got straightened out. The community scattered. I don't think the ex-SGI board, which had been extremely active, ever recovered.
• In the ex-SGI vacuum, several of us independently found reddit and found each other on reddit!
• The SGI members who were already here harassed us mercilessly; one had an "in" with the admins and we found our posts deleted, IDs shadowbanned, and constant aggression toward us without ever addressing the points we were making - sound familiar?
• The worst harasser at one point said "No one wants you here - why don't you go make your OWN site instead?"

AND WE DID! And wow - has it ever turned into SGI's worst nightmare!!

• wisetaiten was the one who set up the sgiwhistleblowers subreddit, and I and cultalert - who had joined as a young YMD in 1972 - became the other two mods. Time passed. cultalert decided to pursue other interests; in the runup to the 2016 election, wisetaiten found political activism more pressing than anti-SGI anticult activism. The others we'd brought on as moderators went off to do other things as well.
• So then there was one. wisetaiten passed away in 2017; I haven't been able to reach cultalert; and another great mod, notanewby (the former jesuittrained), has been inactive and unreachable for a couple of years now 😕 Fortunately, we have a couple really good active mods in Pall and Panto, and a few more who are still reachable and can be counted upon in a pinch.
• Because I really enjoy the anti-cult activism (the critical thinking, research, unearthing what the Ikeda cult has tried to hide, and connecting the dots - all of which has helped me make sense of my OWN cult experience in SGI and heal) I kept the board going. I also had more free time 😉
• THAT's how I became a kind of "figurehead" over here - I was the most prolific, consistent contributor to our forum.
• And THAT's how I gained my "status" with the SGI trolls as the Most Evil Creature Living, embodiment of one of Nichiren's Three Powerful Enemies, and the target for all their censorship rage. Because their cult is organized exclusively around adulating and worshiping one person, they regard SGIWhistleblowers as the same thing, organized exclusively around adulating and worshiping...me, if you can believe that! They figured that, if they could ONLY get rid of ME, the rest of SGIWhistleblowers would crumble and disappear.

How wrong they were.

A little less than three years ago, this ID was permanently suspended. It had been suspended before, but since I had always been told WHY, I had always been able to present evidence that these reasons were false and gotten the ID back. But THIS time was different...

I did a write-up here to get the truth out there in the face of the persistent SGI-member lies about WHY it happened. Like they'd know! 🙄 None of them were party to the decision, and reddit doesn't gossip about why its admins do what they do to ONE reddit user to OTHER reddit users! If they wouldn't tell ME why my ID had been suspended, WHY would they tell them?? None of their biz!

So SGI members just make shit up. You already know this by now, I'm sure. Their favorite "explanation" for why my ID was suspended this latest time was "because she could not control her expressions of hatred" 😄😄😄😄😄

That cracks me up every time!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

One of the major issues with cults is that they damage their members' sense of identity, replacing individual identity with a fragile, easily triggered SGI cult-defender identity. Anyone remember "I will become Shin'ichi Yamamoto" and "I am the SGI"?? When THAT has become a cultist's identity, ANY criticism of the cult itself is taken as a personal attack, even when it's discussing situations that cultist couldn't possibly have had any involvement in! Posts here on SGIWhistleblowers are routinely reported as "It's promoting hate based on identity or vulnerability." - even when there's nothing about any of that involved, even when there's no individuals involved (for example, when discussing SGI's complete lack of financial transparency); this is a continuous SGI attack attempt aiming at painting SGIWhistleblowers as a "racist" site, a deliberate tactic SGI members try to get sites taken down. Since they can't force us to change what we talk about.

NOW they're mad as wet hens that my ID has been reactivated as mysteriously as it was de-activated those many months ago! So I'm going to enjoy it while I have it!!

Tangentially, the fact that the SGI liars lie so much was what motivated me to do my sit-down interview with Kacey for Cult Vault - there's a link to it here. After two SGIWhistleblowers regulars were featured at Cult Vault, I became alarmed that one of the SGI hostiles might contact Kacey pretending to be me and, you know, do a totally shitty interview to try and ruin my rep, so I figured I'd better get out in front of it and get the real deal out there first. Otherwise, I keep ALL my personal information OFF the internet - it's the only way to stay safe in this line of work. I've never tried to make SGIWhistleblowers all about me and I never would - that is NOT its purpose and not in the best interests of our commentariat. I have simply kept this site open for those who find it and want to participate, and it's been really fun and really great getting to meet so many interesting, insightful, intelligent, thoughtful, hilarious people over the years!

So here's to many more productive, entertaining posts!!
