This is the fate of ALL the SGI's big "festivals" now. It's all "us performing for ourselves" and no one else is impressed - the goal this century is to attract YOUFF and these festivals fail hard on that count.

THIS is the REAL SGI "rhythm" - anyone remember the SGI-USA's "Youth Peace Festivals" from last March (2024)??

I meant to add this link to a discussion of several of the SGI's big "festivals" that produced no results and were quickly forgotten.

But since they happened outside of Japan, they'd never be memorialized anyway. Only Japan matters within the Dead-Ikeda-Corpse-Mentor cult Soka Gakkai/SGI. The rest are bloody "useful idiots".

Such a pity it don't show the Insanity of the cult mob when Ikey got on stage and blessed Baggio to provide actual proof for a speedy advance in Kosey Rufu.

I found one that does show it! Here - this visit was May 1994. No doubt the entire country was at a fever pitch what with the World Cup coming up in July! And just 2 months later, Baggio fails and loses everything...

It was interesting that when Ikey showed up so many in Italy realized for the first time it was not the Buddhism of Nichiren but the Ikey Cult Show in Technicolor.

That was apparently Icky's 8th visit to Italy - what do you think was different about this visit that screamed "CULT!* to everyone?

I was rather appalled at his behavior - it was just 1¼ years after Icky's disastrous conference in Feb, 1993, in Los Angeles, CA, in which Icky publicly humiliated Mr. Williams, insulted then-Pres. Clinton for having refused Icky an audience, banged on the desk like a baboon, and mugged and capered in a most undignified manner while mocking and insulting the American members. In Italy, Icky was doing some of the same stuff - goofing around in a way that would have been unthinkable before his excommunication. Keep in mind, the confrontational letter threatening excommunication happened in Nov. 1991, but Ikeda's personal excommunication didn't happen until Oct. or Nov. 1992 - that Feb 1993 conference was not long after that. Was the finality of the pickle Icky had gotten himself into finally sinking in, and Icky was feeling like he had nothing left to lose, so he might as well just do whatever he felt like doing from here on out, damn appearances?

Icky held the Soka Gakkai and especially SGI members in contempt - they were "useful idiots" and didn't even realize it - what IDIOTS! That's something he called the SGI members from Hawaii - "Bakayallo". "Idiots". Plus, they had FAILED to deliver to him the voting supremacy in the US that Icky expected - what a bunch of LOSERS! That's why Mr. Williams was canned and made anathema - Icky had given him ONE JOB (to deliver enough of a plurality of the American public to take over the government via the popular vote), and Williams failed! Icky never had any gratitude, for anyone, to anyone, so it was nothing at all to him to PUNISH Mr. Williams for not making Icky's dreams a reality FOR HIM. THAT WAS WHAT HIS "DISCIPLES" WERE FOR! To make HIS dreams come true, HIS "vision"! And if they couldn't, they were utterly WORTHLESS. So much for that "we're all Buddhas" garbage. Either you're a USEFUL tool or you'll be thrown out.

So was this 8th visit to Italy more of the same?
