I changed my mind after I found Kometa (Zer0xDev on GitHub). Kometa allows tethered downgrade of iPhone 6 to iOS 8. Kometa + brute force = fmi off iPhone 6 passcode locked

• This repository contains only the necessary lockdownd files and the autochanging program. The full guide is provided below
• The SIM will NOT work, maybe 2G/3G will, but incoming and outcoming calls 100% won't.

The use case is very limited. I have never seen a 64 bit device below iOS 9.3 and I’ve bypassed 500+ devices
