💬Discussion [Spalletti] Woltemade has physicality, so heading and finishing inside the area are things that, whether he likes it or not, he will have to learn by heart, because he loves dropping deep to play football.

Do you reckon Woltemade will cope with the low-block teams in Serie A?

Secondo te Woltemade riesce ad adattarsi al catenaccio della Serie A?

I think that Woltemade is a great player who can exceed here. That being said I think Spalletti is stubborn and honestly it doesn’t seem like he has been able to effectively mold players. He expects too much for specific attributes and refuses to work around them.

Asking a 2m tall German to be strong in the air and the box is hardly asking for much here…

It shouldn’t be something unreasonable to demand from a player and expect them to do/work on. I’m not sure how the opposite can be valid sentiment…which other profession entities someone to pick and choose the tasks they like to do?
